PokeBonk Venusaur is the third and final stage of the Bulbasaur line. This PokeBonk Venusaur page explains what the last form adds: the third Ultimate tier, the highest stats of the line and what the game code says about its type matchups. It is an unofficial fan guide to PokeBonk, built from the game’s files, and the official game is at pokebonk.com.

PokeBonk Venusaur at a glance

  • Pokédex number 3, Grass and Poison, stage 3 of 3.
  • Base stats: HP 80, Attack 82, Defense 83, Sp. Atk 100, Sp. Def 100, Speed 80, total 525. Every stat is 20 points higher than on Ivysaur.
  • No further evolution exists inside the 151 Kanto Pokémon, so this is where the family ends.
  • The final form keeps the Grass and Poison dual type, so PokeBonk Venusaur shares its multipliers with the earlier stages.

Giga Flower Whip, the tier 3 Ultimate

The final tier of the line is Giga Flower Whip. The game describes ten roots, the sun and a giant flower that opens around you in three waves of petals. Compared with Furious Roots from Bulbasaur, which uses six roots, PokeBonk Venusaur gets more roots and an extra area effect, and the game text for this tier mentions no sleep or heal. The 20% heal belongs to Frenzy Plant, the previous tier.

PokeBonk Venusaur passive

Synthesis is the same family passive: +1.5 regeneration and +25% healing, plus a heal of 0.4% of maximum HP for each Grass hit, capped at five times per second. Because PokeBonk Venusaur has the highest stats of the line, that passive works on a larger health pool, and the data file ability Overgrow is not what the game applies.

PokeBonk Venusaur matchups

The code uses x1.35 for super-effective hits, x0.8 for resisted hits and x0.5 for classic immunities, and damage you take is limited to between x0.5 and x1.6. For this typing:

  • x1.35 from Flying, Fire, Psychic and Ice.
  • x1.08 from Poison, Ground and Bug.
  • x0.8 from Fighting, Water, Electric and Fairy, and x0.64 from Grass.

Check the type chart when you plan PokeBonk Venusaur around fire-heavy zones.

How to unlock and use PokeBonk Venusaur

You do not capture the final form directly. The Bulbasaur family joins your League once its challenge is complete (2 finished runs) and you capture the Pokémon, or you pick it as the starter. Then you level it up; the derived evolution levels are about 24 and about 41 per the game data, not play-tested. General advice, clearly not a measured build: once you reach the final form, keep Grass moves and healing cards, since the passive rewards frequent hits.

For the other lines see the Pokédex, and for upgrade rules see the builds guide.
