How to play the Caterpie line
Caterpie’s line has the Metamorphosis role, and its passive of the same name tells you exactly when it evolves: Metapod at Lv. 8 and Butterfree at Lv. 36. Those levels are fixed for this family rather than worked out by the usual formula. The passive also gives +15% experience and +20 shield, and the Metapod stage adds +30 armor from the cocoon. The kit mixes Bug and Flying: String Shot, Bug Bite, Gust and Bug Buzz. The Ultimate follows the cocoon theme: Silk Net traps enemies, Fortress gives Metapod 4 s of invulnerability and a 40% shield, and Butterfree’s Scale Storm puts enemies to sleep, paralyzes and poisons over a huge area. You join it to your League by evolving 3 times during your runs. Try it if you like an early power spike.
