How to play the Venonat line
Venonat’s line is the Radar, built around confusion. Its passive, Compound Eyes, gives +8% crit and +15% status chance, and confused enemies take +25% damage; as Venomoth you also get +12% attack speed. The kit is Supersonic (Normal) with three Bug moves: U-turn, Silver Wind and Signal Beam. Radar Eyes marks twelve enemies and fires a Psybeam at each one, confusing them, which sets up the passive’s bonus. As Venomoth it becomes Scale Dust: six Venomoth shed scales that confuse and poison, ending in an 18 m silver wind. The game’s code puts Venomoth at about level 41. Its challenge is to confuse 1,500 Pokémon. Players who like one effect feeding the next will enjoy it.
Where the Venonat line starts
Venonat starts the Venonat line with a base stat total of 305 (HP highest at 60), the tier 1 Ultimate Radar Eyes and the family passive Compound Eyes. Venonat evolves into Venomoth at about level 41 (worked out from the game code, not play-tested).
