How to play the Weedle line

Weedle’s line is the Stinger, and like Caterpie it evolves on a fixed schedule written into its passive: Kakuna at Lv. 8 and Beedrill at Lv. 36. The passive, Poison Sting, gives +10% attack speed, makes your crits poison, and has poisoned enemies take +20% damage; Kakuna also gets +30 armor. Three moves are Poison (Poison Sting, Toxic Spikes, Poison Jab) and one is Bug (Twineedle). The Ultimate shares the first move’s name: Poison Sting fires two rings of 24 stingers, Kakuna’s Toxic Shell adds a 35% shield inside a 6 m toxic cloud, and Beedrill’s Deadly Swarm sends eight ghost Beedrill diving at enemies. The challenge is 5,000 KOs in total. It rewards players who stack crits and want poison doing the rest.

Where the Weedle line starts

Weedle starts the Weedle line with a base stat total of 195 (Speed highest at 50), the tier 1 Ultimate Poison Sting and the family passive Poison Sting. Weedle evolves into Kakuna at about level 8 (worked out from the game code, not play-tested).
