How to play Hitmonlee
Hitmonlee is the Kicker, a rare one-stage family. Its passive, Rubber Kicks, gives +20% area and +1 jump, and attacks with “kick” in the name deal +20% damage; all four moves qualify: Rolling Kick, Blaze Kick (Fire), Jump Kick and High Jump Kick. It does not evolve, so it keeps Thunderous Kick: six kicks from enemy to enemy and a High Jump Kick from the sky that cracks the ground; the in-game text says that with Maturity there are more kicks and a bigger crater. Its challenge has two parts: have 20 members in your League, and defeat 30 Alpha Pokémon. That makes it a mid-game target. A good fit if you like jumping and area hits.
What Hitmonlee brings
Hitmonlee does not evolve, so this form is the whole family: a base stat total of 455 (Attack highest at 120), the Ultimate Thunderous Kick and the passive Rubber Kicks.
