How to play the Voltorb line
Voltorb’s line is the Bomb, and the enemies explode, not you. Its passive, Aftermath, gives +15% speed, and each enemy you defeat has a 12% chance to explode in a 3 m burst of Electric damage that paralyzes; as Electrode the chance is 20%. All four moves are Electric: Spark, Electroweb, Rising Voltage and Discharge. Electric Roll rolls you from enemy to enemy eight times, and every impact sparks and paralyzes. As Electrode it becomes Big Explosion: you charge up and explode without fainting, a 15 m blast with eight electric fissures. The game’s code puts Electrode at about level 40. To join it, open 120 item Poké Balls, which you do naturally while playing. Dense hordes are where it shines.
