How to play Zapdos
Zapdos is the Electric bird, a legendary family with three challenges: have 50 members in your League, win the Rocky Desert, and defeat 3,000 Pokémon in the rain in a single run. Its passive, Electric Pressure, gives +10% damage, HP and speed, and every 5 s three lightning bolts strike nearby enemies and paralyze them. All four moves are Electric: Bolt Beak, Wildbolt Storm, Thunderclap and Electro Shot. Its Ultimate, Legendary Storm, calls a 3 s storm of constant lightning and five large thunderclaps on the strongest enemies; with Maturity, three Zapdos dive down and it rains. It does not evolve. Think of it as an always-on electric field.
What Zapdos brings
Zapdos does not evolve, so this form is the whole family: a base stat total of 580 (Sp. Atk highest at 125), the Ultimate Legendary Storm and the passive Electric Pressure.
