How to play the Ekans line

Ekans’s line is the Snake, a crowd-control family. Its passive, Serpent Glare, gives +1 regen (Shed Skin) and every 4 s paralyzes the enemies in front of you within 7 m, so facing the horde matters. The kit is Wrap (Normal) plus three Poison moves: Acid, Sludge Bomb and Gunk Shot. The Ultimate begins as Deadly Constriction, a poison spiral that pulls enemies in and roots them. As Arbok it becomes Poison Glare, which paralyzes everyone within 20 m for 3 s and then follows with three waves of mud and toxic geysers. The game’s code puts Arbok at about level 36. The challenge is to paralyze 2,500 Pokémon. It suits players who like to lock enemies down before they reach them.
